Potzinger Grauburgunder Grace

Steiermark rising star Stefan Potzinger makes the alluring, woodpecker-inspired Grauburgunder ’Grace’ (v22, 13% ABV) - chalky, herby & smoky with fine concentration & depth of ripe fruit. Shimmering straw-golden in appearance. Slightly foggy nose, ripe peach, apricots & yellow apples, a chunk of spice & HdP. Intense, quite rich & rounded palate, finely sculpted minerality, distinct, lively acidity, the barriques being emergingly integrated, drying with a driven, persistent grape-bitterness from mid-palate to close!
