Nice balance of fruit and structure. Chocolate red fruits, hint of molasses in there, slight spice in the tannins. Oak is not at all obvious, 11 months American oak.

A youthful dark red in colour, the nose is laden with cassis and blackcurrant aromas, with the palate showing similar cassis initially, however the mid to back palate lacks the vibrancy of the nose and front palate, with a little alcohol evident and not much complexity to speak of on the finish.
