100% Monastrell Organic grapes. 2019 Jumilla Spain. Medium ruby color. 14.5% ABV. Big aromas: leather, spice, dark berries. Low tannins with big acidity. Some alcohol burn in throat. Long finish. Light bodied simple wine. Good dry taste. Enjoyed with salads. This wine overwhelmed the salads but matched well with something sharp in the salad such as radishes or the cheese. Second time we've had this wine and doing another tasting to compare. Medium purple color. Dark berries. Perhaps aromas of tobacco or unsmoked cigar. Some herbal notes as well. Maybe fennel. Very leggy. 14.5. Bold taste in this full-bodied wine. Smooth taste in front with slight but good alcohol burn in throat. Good balance of moderate acid and tannins. Simple wine. Medium length finish with acidity lingering longest. We enjoyed without any accompanying food and it stands on its own.

100% organic Monastrell wine. Aromas of dark berries, smoked tobacco, and cocoa. Medium acidity and medium to high tannins. Short finish to acidity and tannins but the fruity flavor lingers long for a somewhat complex finish. Medium to full bodied wine. There is a very mild alcohol burn in the throat in this 14.5% wine.
