Pale yellow with greening hue. Ripe pear and apple with citrus peel, camomile, vanilla, and a very faint hint of something almost musky at the base. Overall light notes balanced with nice mid-palate weight and that very faint hint of dark, well balanced with a longish finish.

This light golden Chardonnay is laden with attractive notes of citrus peel, pit fruits, chamomile, wet stones and verbena. Light-bodied, crisply acidic, minimally oaked and with unnoticeable alcohol (listed as 12.5%), it stays dense on the mid-palate and finishes with good length. Give this a couple more years in the cellar. Most high-quality Chablis offerings are consumed well before their time. Drink 2022-2030.
