Rosa Winery Carignan

*** Soft and beguiling, which, from what I read about this grape is no small achievement. Excellent length, superb balance, medium weight. Just a touch of tannin, but somehow the acidity melds into the fruit in a very enticing way. This wine is organic, I believe. The website says "minimal intervention". It's not exported from Israel at present, but they are working on it so keep your eyes peeled.
