I was astonished by the quality of this wine. I have always enjoyed the Or but have not tasted in 4-5 years and have been saving my last bottle for a night with Carlos, who worked at O-R for years. Impromptu Supper with Elissa (E & M's in the rocks, Sydney) : Dark, brooding, baked red fruits, slight balsamic more of the same on the palate, quite savoury, bolshy…with time it has a lovely sweet and pure plummy note on the nose and palate. Kind of nice.
