Inky purple with mulberry marmelade, tomato paste and blackberry aromas all on the ripe side. Supple and broad with rounded tannins and an overall sweetness on the palate. Would definitely do better with more energy.

Tasted as part of the 2016 Şarap Tutkunları Tasting in İzmir where I was invited as a guest along with Yiannis Karakasis MW, Tuğba Altınöz WSETDIP, Murat Yankı and Serdar Balkaya. The tasting panel included Dilek Caner MW, İsa Bal MS and Ayhan Güleyen. The following tasting note and the relevant score belongs to me only. Youthful purple. Dark black berries along with a bit of tar. Pure and expansive. Intense and rounded with good ageing potential.

Tasted during the blind tasting event " Recent Prominent Turkish Wines" performed by Turkish Wine Enthusiasts with participation of Dilek Caner MW ,Yiannis Karakasis MW ,İsa Bal MS, Serdar Balkaya,Umay Ceviker,Tugba Altinoz,Murat Yankı and Ayhan Guleyen on 5-7 November 2016. The blind taste notes below to İsa Bal MS; A little close but quite varietal.Good fruit and richness touch high tannins otherwise a pleasant wine 88.63/100 Point
