There is either a lot of bottle variation, or else it has evolved very rapidly in the last 2 years. Sangiovese w/ some Merlot. Med+ ruby. Med+ macerated cherry, dried black plum, earth, leather and Bretty barnyard. All stainless. Dry, but w/ some sweet stewed fruit, w/ med acidity, med, resolved tannins and med+ alcohol (13.5%). Med+ body, med flavor intensity and length, finishing w/ a little tired. Drink now or past its prime. I am being a bit unduly …

Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. Med (+) ruby. Attractive aromas of raspberry, red plum. Clean, all stainless. Dry, with med plus acidity, med plus, astringent tannins and high alcohol (14%). Really nice and surprisingly age worthy for a value priced Rosso. Great QPR.

Extremely forbidding after twenty minutes in the decanter, but very pleasant after a bit more time; the fruit really came out and provides some interest. Well worth trying again, I think.

Chilled for about 5-10 minutes before popping. Assessing as a grab-n-go wine. It's ok...
