Definitely a bit of oxidation in the nose despite a perfect cork. This has never been particularly great, but I was hoping for a miracle in the bottle! Silky smooth palate with plenty of menthol, sweet red cherries and some spice. Hints of wood. This is definitely Old and should be drunk soon, but has very bright acidity and is relatively fresh excluding the slight oxidative note. 89
