Celler Pinol Terra Alta Finca Morenillo

Beautiful bright rich ruby color. Black pepper and red cherries on the nose. Very similar tasting notes but the red cherries are sweeter than I expected. Would go great with lamb.

PnP. Rich, voluptuous red, tons of ripe (perhaps a touch overripe) dark fruit, rosemary, and saddle leather on the nose. Smooth palate, with a little bit of prickly tannin on the end, and perhaps lacking somewhat in structure, but 2013 was an off year and the other vintages I've had were much more put together. Drink now, no decant needed but it may improve it somewhat.

Robe cerise très foncée. Sur les fruits noirs, mûre, anis, boisé, prune et balsamique. Vin complexe et bien équilibré. Décanté 1h30. Bon RQP.

Rich Blackcurrants on the nose. Chocolate, oak and pepper. Delightfully subtle.
