Spice, pepper, wild dark rasberry, dark cherry. Concentrated fruit, but balanced. None of the overly-extracted medicinal notes that I often get from young New Zealand pinot. Excellent quality for price. Drink or hold for the next 3-5 years.

Under screwcap. Elegant and aromatic - herbs and dark florals - with bright dark fruit and persistent acidity. Showing its cooler climate, higher altitude Pisa provenance. Only mid weight but with sufficient ripe fruit and concentration. Supple and silky mouthfeel. Refined tannins. Balanced with moderate alcohol (13.5% ABV). Organic and bio-dynamic. I expect it to drink in this style out until 2029+ (perhaps adding savoury nuance). 92+.
