Young wine, but price/quality is good to drink it at lunch every day.

Solid wine, particularly when a allowed to breathe. Forest berries, ocean salinity, good structure, gripping. Enjoyable. 85-86.

Purchased simply for the price and the regional curiosity. Verdict; what I would consider an everyday table wine with no character or complexity yet it's not disappointing as it doesn't try and be something more than what it is... If you have it, drink it last year. Cheers.

Surprisingly good for $5. Excellent QPR. No notes taken but it was a down the middle wine with decent fruit, acidity, and modest tannins. Easy to drink. It's a NV wine and I expect there is a lot of bottle variation as well. (Given the price point I also expect some retailers carry it after it's received rough shipping treatment.)

Well, you get what you pay for. Simple red table wine. Slightly acidic and tannic but if you're having buttery garlic bread, it's still better than a non-vinted wine.

This "vintage" seems completely different from previous bottles. The wine has more structure, including tannins, which I don't remember it having before. In addition, the fruit is darker and more Spanish in style (with more acidity), and not the soft cherry that was typical before and that made this kind of wine to recommend to people who didn't like red wine. I think there is more tempranillo in it than before, which would account for the differences.

Clearly better than last note. It has been 2 yrs. The bottle seems "NV" so hard to know when this was made! Now is more like a Pinot experience - lots of bright cherry/rasbperry notes. Acid is mild and very drinkable out of fridge for 30 mins. Yes, still kind of like fruit juice, but has some deeper complexity in there that is subtle, but needed and leads to a balanced wine for this style. I'm turned off by the …

Good as your second or third bottle. Rough nose and tastes young. Open it the say before youre planning in drinking it. Hard to complain with that pricepoint though...

A little sharp and acidic as others have pointed out, but there's some decent fruit there as well. Eminently drinkable at this price point.

Bought this NV wine about three years ago and aged in my closet. Wine is still rough, slight plum taste when opened. Basic red wine. Still drinkable despite being past the drinking window according to CT. It seemed better the third day, when I finished it, than the first day I opened it. It threw a little sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

Fruity with a bit of spice and some good oak. Good tannins and acidity balance out the wine well. Excellent QPR.

Surprisingly good. Not special, but ripe and round with juicy red and blue fruit and plenty of grip. At $5, hard to beat indeed. Would buy again as a daily drinker.

Gave this a go while looking for other spanish wines from this region - this is one of the lowest price points for vino in my region, and it clearly shows...this is light and thin in the glass and on the palate. It is more closer to cherry juice than vino. A little sweet, but i think not offensive. Light tart cherry notes with a subtle background funkyness - balances out ok in the end, but really not my cup …

Aromas of bell peppers, tomato, and bramble fruit. Pleasant acidity and tart cherry up front, but then a little sour and vegetal for my liking. No tannins, not much finish. At $5 hard to complain, but you can do better.

Reasonable. cherry fruit, green pepper, and very short finish. there are better wines for the price ($11)

The notes below say it all. Not necessarily going to buy cases of it, but if I come across bottles for less than $10, I'll get it. Very easy to drink with or without food.

Not as great as the white but a nice bottle for $5. A bit stark and not too complex.

Nose of plums. Mild tannins, dark fruit flavors. Simple, but a great value for the $4.49 price.
