Gorgeous, fully open and currently entering it's 2nd phase of development as it begins to pick up more tertiary notes. For me this is where I prefer to drink my wines. Fruit notes remain, but the violets, mushroom and herbal viney notes are all in front.

Quite disappointed with this wine. The nose showed some violet and purple fruits but overall rather muted. On the palate, it was very one dimensional without much weight and structure. Wonder if it is just a bottle issue?

Violets and dark spices on the nose. Big, round fruit on the palate, with black cherry and tannin. Very open now.
