I liked the slightly aged fruit and the acidity was up to the job when first opened. However, this didn't hold over to the second day as off flavors crept in over night.

A plum color in the glass. Scents of funk, potting soil, and dark fruits. In the mouth there are flavors of dark fruits and minerality along a medium-short finish.

Good wine. Rich nose with blackcurrant, plum and oak. The mouth is full-bodied, quite tannic, with a balanced taste of fruit, oak, and a lot of chocolate. A bit oily and even a little harsh, but no problem. Its potential to improve with age are probably limited, but I am sure this wine can soften a bit after 2-3 more years in a cellar.
