Further to my Note of Aug. 24, 21: A bit more gold than 6 mos ago, a bit less fruit. Tested it over 5 days in frig with vacuvin: slow decline, best to finish within 24 hours. A solid performer that has provided much enjoyment.

Further to my Note of April 12 '21: After buying some '18, decided to check with this again. It still sings--delicious with shrimp and spargel pesto pasta. Holding up well.

Further to my Note of Sept 13 '19: Bought four more and have tried two more: this continues to please. Appreciate the subtlety, restraint, and richness of this relative to the array of NZ Marl everyday bottlings and large number of Cali mass market bottlings. Drank over 3 days with minor loss by the end. Prov Winery's current release is its '18 which lists at 25/b, and best Searcher PRO for the '17 is 13.5/b so getting this while still …

Steely. Aromas of pear. Tasting lemons, limes, and bit of grapefruit. Minimal tannin, good acidity, long finish.

A beautiful citrus and minerals nose but muddled and flat on the palate with a funky finish of dirty socks. (Sorry!) Drinks older than a ‘17. Perhaps she’s simply over the hill. Pass.

Bought 4b for 10/b from a local, eclectic wine shop one month ago; this is #1. Pale gold; fragrant grassy, citrusy nose; vivid fruit, very good mouthfeel; good persistence. Delicious. Reminded me of some of my favorite value Bordeaux blanc (e.g., G by Guiraud), though a bit shy of semillon for that. Glad I have more and might buy more. Stored vertically in a cool, dark basement since purchase (screwcap). My evaluation: I've stopped giving scores on a "100-point scale" …

Straw color. Smells of California golden rolling hills in the fall. Green apple, pineapple and grass to taste. Crisp and acidic. Decent wine

Pretty good juice. Golden yellow with legs. Quince and melon in the nose, sharply focused. Smooth and mellow but with new-mown hay fruit, good balance of fruit and acid, hardly complex but very nice and friendly in the mouth. Great value. 4-12-15-8: 89/100.

By the glass. This aristocratic terroir only manifests in the form of a dry minerality that prevails over rough tropical ripe fruit notes. On the palate highlights that sharp acidity and little else. Por copas. El aristocrático terreno de origen sólo se manifiesta en forma de una seca mineralidad que prevalece sobre unas rudas notas de fruta tropical madura. Al paladar destaca su puntiaguda acidez y poco más.

Pale yellow color with green hues. Green apple and pear on the nose. Notes of pineapple, citrus, and stone fruit emerge on the palate, ending with a slightly hot and bitter finish. Acid is medium plus, alcohol is high.

With 1% Muscat and 1% Semillon, I think he said. And then 20% new oak. So "Napa Style". Melon, touch citrus and grapefruit and then some richness due to the oak. Peachy notes on the palate as well.

Stone fruit, mango and citrus. Medium weight and texture. A touch of sweetness on a lively finish. Excellent wine and a good value.
