Loads of juice berry candy, ripe blackberry, blueberry, plum and hints of mint and sweet chocolate. Tannins are persistent but fine. Warm alcohol is balanced by a backbone of fresh acidity. Quite muted on the nose, but brilliant flavours of dark berries, herbs and a nice meatiness. Super smooth tannins and full mouth feel. Distinctive and delicious.
