Martini Riserva Montelera Metodo Classico

I like this pinot blend with a little bit of time in the bottle. I got these two bottles for a couple of years in the cellar and quite like them at the stage the bubbly is now, some grace is added to the usual energetic and lively appearance to make it just right ;)

Disgorged first half of 2014. This has evolved a little bit in a good way. Good weight on the palate, there is some depth and structure in the body. The bubbles are a bit rough, but you can't want much at this price point. Great QPR here.

Same bottle as the last one I tried, no wonder the supemarked slashed the price for this batch at almost half.

The bottle was slightly oxidated and lokked prematured, drinkable but somehow odd.

Definitely better with some time in a bottle, I expect with 3-5y after disgorgement will be peaking, enjoyable now no doubt.

A graceful sparkler made from 80-90% Pinot Noir, the rest is Pinot Blanc. Lively and gentle bubbles with good acidity. Absolutely enjoyable wine that easy rivals more expensive ones.
