I’m not saying I want a Marlborough smack in the mouth every time I drink Sauvignon Blanc but this SB is very muted giving little away on the nose or the palate, I think I would be hard pressed, tasting it blind, to know it was a Sauv Blanc. The wine is pleasant enough giving green apple, conference pear and grass mixed with some VA on the nose. On the palate it’s dry with high acidity, grassy with green apple …
