Beautiful the first night but it really blossomed on night two. Pumped and refrigerated and pulled it out the next day. Nose was nearly sauternes like. Honey blossom, dried apricot, same silky texture, really opened up.

Tropical notes have dissipated, still the texture and weight are there, acidity is a little light, waxy vague peach with bitter orange and hazelnut skin is the dominant tone at the point. Drink up

Color: medium gold Nose: ripe, oxidized pear and apple. Minerals - crushed rocks. Some wax and honey. Fresh ricotta. Some mountain herbs Palate: medium acidity, detectable bitterness. A little weak aromatically. Has pear and minerals Finish: medium This imo is starting to feel over the hill - cheese notes on the nose and a sort of weak palate point to this being a little old. That dias, with sushi it worked, there is some structure left here

Drunk with rice and mushroom stuffed peppers in tomato consomme. 13%. Pale bright yellow gold. A nose of delicate ripe melon and apricot with mineral elements. Mouthfeel is rather like a Rhone white - full, rich creaminess. It is beautifully dry with a very nice thread of acidity running through and great body. This went very well with the dish but it is a wine to sip and enjoy with a delicate dish rather than to wash down food with. …

Found in the cellar. Last bottle from a cache of 9 that was forgotten. I was not sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised that while the fresh and vibrant palate of earlier bottles had gone the wine took on a Jura like quality. Sight oxidation with a nutty palate, interesting depth and mouth feel. Quite enjoyable.

My 2nd last bottle of the 2015, and this one is showing a slightly sherried, oxidative note. That's not bad, just different. Lots of apple, honey, white flowers as well. Not as refined as previous bottles, but still enjoyable.

Not much in the way of fruit left on this one. Very little acidity either. A masculine and serious white wine. Full bodied with tremendous texture. Great floral and mineral notes. I like it a lot.

Very clear pale gold. Quite nutty on the nose, with quince and orange zest notes. Rich, full, and very clearly mature on the palate. Probably starting to go over. Floral, lemony, almost oily palate. Richly textured, even a touch tannic. Very clean, precise flavours, with excellent length. Apparently, it's a blend of sauvignon blanc, garganega and tocai

The day after is better , this means that with time can get better. Yellow fruits, mineral, tropical fruits, on the palate balanced, full bodied with a refreshing acidity. If I have to find a cons , I find it too short

A perennial favourite. Quintarelli’s reds get all the attention and this seems to slip under the radar. It’s a no-brainer case buy for me most years. A delicious field blend with so much going on: orchard fruit, kiwi, floral notes, bracing acidity, lovely texture. I’ve opened this with many of my Italiophile vinophile friends and they all seem to love it, so it’s weird that none of them buy it. Perhaps because Ontario’s antiquated liquor monopoly never carries it.

Absolutely lovely. Fairly deep yellow. This smells like old Bollinger in a good way. And Bit O Honey candy. Rich full bodied with balanced, of light acidity. Fabulous if you can find it or cellar it if you have some young ones...

Slo-oxed for 10 minutes. My last TN from Dec. 2017 still holds true. This medium to plus bodied wine displays the stone fruits of nectarines and peaches, as well as the tropical fruits of mango and papaya up front. Next is the citrus of lemon, along with a hint of gooseberry, minerality, and nicely juicy acidity. This wine should hold for several years.

SAQ N° 10663801 J'ai souvenir du 2015 qui était plus sur les arômes de Garganega. Avec les aubergines grillées et risotto de bulgur. Bouquet un peu timide sur la poivre et le citron confit. Bouche mince. Boff. Mauvais année. *

pale straw colored, tropical fruit, kiwi and honey nose, dry, honeyed, carried well by the acid, this shows off the sauvignon blanc for me, with crisp white peaches, kiwi fruit, melon, mineral and stones, complexity galore, really well-made

green hay colored. nose herbaceous and floral. zippy acidity up front with a solidly medium body. the sauv blanc show prominently on the palate with zesty lemon flavors and a bit of grassiness. the bigger grapes also bring a nutty bass note. very dry with a nice salinity and deep mineral cut. a good wine that goes down easily but would like more complexity at this price.

Spectacular. Having had five of these since it was released, I thought I knew this wine. I didn't. As good as it's been for me already, tonight's expression was timeless beauty. The color doesn't appear to have aged at all since release. The nose on the other hand, has developed more fully, more expressively. Still, upon opening, the wine was relaxed - it revealed its charms slowly, purposefully. At first, ginger, citrus, a note of mango, some minerals and seashells. …

PnP. On the palate, the garganega, trebbiano and chardonnay clearly overpowered the sauvignon blanc, with the exception of the medium+ acidity. The nectarines, peaches and tropical fruits were there, as was the citrus, and a hint of minerality, but very little, if any, of the grass, hay or herbal presence of the SB. Improved slightly in the glass, so a quick decant might help. I'd think this wine could hold for many years.

White peach, pears and floral nose. Very rounded on the palate. Low acidity makes it feel heavier than it actually is. Very silky mouth-feel. It's like a northern Rhone but with less octane. I was actually surprised this was 12.5% alcohol as it feels full bodied. Went well with pizza margherita and I can imagine it would go even better with pizza bianca.

As good as ever. Supple on nose and palate. I got mostly the tree fruit, and great minerality with a luscious finish. Just a fun wine to drink. Just rich enough to pair with sweet potato gnocci with alfredo sauce in a sweet-savory play that worked well since it has enough acidity to finish clean.

From memory, a mesmerizing entwined aroma of salt marsh, melon, flowers, indian spice, wild flowers. Wild vibrant splash of fruit on the palate with a ragged acid edge. I discovered this wine goes beautifully with tagliatelle and bolognese sauce. 50 + 18 + 17 + 9 = 94.

Attractive, slightly grassy, almost Sauvignon Blanc nose; what a beautiful white melange, nicely flavored in a reserved way, with excellent balance, good acidity, a nice mix of slight tartness to balance the surface fruit, and a dose of minerality coming through on the finish. We drank a lot of the 2012 version of this, 2015 seems to be a return to the quality of that vintage.

This is quite expensive in the states. You are definitely paying for the label. It is an interesting blend. Very steely and mostly sauv blanc flavors. Northeast Italy in a glass. White flowers, nectarines, tropics. A buy for 25 bucks but no more.
