Fingerlakes wine tasting with Yagil Barel; 5/28/2022-5/31/2022 (Cayuga, Seneca, Keuka Lakes) : A wine to drink chilled, with barbeque, or as a base for Sangria -- I wouldn't drink it alone and certainly not warm. Deep pink/violet. Nose is floral, almost candied fruit: you find sour cherry hard candy, perhaps Welch's grape as well. Vinified slightly sweet, but still balanced, good flavor, modest tannins.
