Domaine Marc-Olivier Bertrand Languedoc-Pézenas Nuances Rouge

Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan Intense flavours on the nose: balsamic notes, tar, rosemary. Smell the south! Tannins have a certain chew to them, and there's a certain wildness to this, with bramble fruit, clove, liquorice. Reminds me a little of an old fashioned Rasteau. I like this. It's honest, not polished. Will be interesting to see how it ages.
