Sadly.. maderized. Fill level a bit low for mag. Purchased new at retail in 2019, I believe, from a domaine-direct release.

This was gorgeous and expressive right away and grew into a heady, perfumed, and quintessential Cabernet Franc with layered tones of red cherries, cranberries, red fruits, herbs, earth, cigar wrapper, bell peppers, and a touch of beef broth. The Medium bodied feel is layered and refined with well-integrated, medium+ acidity and resolved, medium tannins. The structure has fully resolved and peeled back into something expressive and refined. This is just lovely and a real treat to drink.

Still young! Had with wild rabbit fricassee.

Super captivating nose. Tall summer weeds; smoke. Tart berry palate. Salt water taffy.

Monday Dinner (Webster Wine Bar - Chicago, IL) : Seriously good cabernet franc. Had some pyrazines throughout and they blended nicely with some soot, red fruits, and soft roses. Drinking in a great spot and throwing this in a decanter really helped out.

Wine was oxidized...To bad..

opened right before dinner. still alive and kicking. the wine looks light ruby colored. smells like green bell pepper, some red fruits and mushrooms in a forest. cranberry on taste with some and red fruits., maybe a hint of wood. medium body, smooth texture with a medium finish. wish we had more. great with bone-in rib-eye and bearnaise sauce.
