Very balsamic and herby nose, evolving to quite rich fruit. Bit of celery. Quite rich on the palate, dark-fruited, a little ferrous. Still remarkably fresh and balanced. Has the sweet pure fruit character you get only from old Barolo. This is much better on the palate than the nose. Great with chicken & morels.
