Edetaria Terra Alta Via Edetana

As a single varietal, this wine is a straight vector traversing through the entire spectrum of superb. Aroma promises plum and green wood. Color is opaque purple and brown. First and subsequent tastes show tannin and fruit. The alcohol lifts the base to the nose which brings perfect gustatory and olfactory perfection. You get the idea. Oh woe is me as I do not have a thousand bottle cellar in which I could put away at least one case.

A little disjointed or unbalanced. Nice tart berry flavors that went better with food that alone. Decent, but would not seek out again.

good bottle...especially at this price. This was the 4th bottle of the night, so I'm going of of (faded) memory here, but Black Cherry and a little touch of Oak on the nose, with a medium-Full body mouth feel and a great finish. I would definitely buy this again.

I was pleasantly surprised with this wine. Notes of plum, boysenberry and blueberry. Tannins and acidity in balance with the fruit. 15 second finish. A little sour on the finish, else I'd put this a point or two higher. Very nice for $9, but drink now. 87-89 points.

nose: real nice nose. Some spice, blackberry, and dark cherry mostly on the nose. taste: mostly blackberry on the mouth with some real good firm tannin structure. overall: very nice and enjoyable. Very good solid wine that is easy to drink
