St. Anne's Crossing Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley

Decent, basic zin.....good red fruit, mild plum notes starting, easy spice, short to moderate length finish.

A nice solid drink. Not spectacular, but better than a lot of them out there. Dark garnet/purple in the glass. Earthy red/black fruit nose, mildly tart tannins midway through, lots of red cherry fruit, smooth ending with a nice peppery burn and good acidity extending for 45+ seconds after you swallow. This is drinking very well right now. Has a little time left, too.

Lots of pepper and spice with big dark fruit.
