Perseus Winery & Vineyards Invictus

Worth the wait! I’ve been cellaring bottles since I learned that the winery was sold and the brand withdrawn from the market. Very cab franc forward, and nicely rounded with other varietals. Big and bold Bordeaux style. Another Bc red that really delivers!

Ruby red colour, modest nose. First taste hits a little bitter, but quickly opens into a fruity melody of dark fruits, cherries, and currants. Finish is dry but not complex or earthy. Good wine but not a successful attempt at a bordeux blend. Looks like vineyard is not around either so drink a collectors item
