Not sure what to expect but golden color with a slightly oily mouth feel kind of a red wine disguised as a white.

I've tasted Tardieu-Laurent Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and fell in love—the 2008 Hermitage blanc sports a nose of buttercream frosting, soft orchard fruits, orange marmalade and toasted hazelnuts. Round, silky and decadent, it's showing nicely now. There is a delicious interplay of oak and acid, fruit and toasted but notes. We served this with pan seared scallops and the roasted halibut encrusted with nuts and herbs. Sumptuous and lovely.

On the oaky side with not much distinct characteristic. Not unlike an oaky Cali Chard.

PnP 750ml; Nose and palate with hints of chlorine. Beyond that, it had some decent qualities. Not sure why the chlorine smell so no rating at this time. Will try another bottle soon.
