Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. The serious, "dark side" of Freisa, with med (+) aromas of black plum, medicinal herbs, black pepper, smoky bacon, mesquite smoke, tar. Lots of black pepper spice. Like a Northern Rhone Syrah. And wow that is grippy on the palate. Whew.
