Faint aroma of cherry. Not giving up much. Simple flavors of cherry. Nothing special on finish.

Notes from night 2. This needed some air to open up. Dark red color. Herbal, pyrazines, black cherry & red currants. Medium body, medium acidity & medium finish. Fruit on palate was on the red end of the spectrum and had nice herbal undertones. I enjoyed this and would buy again given price (under $13.00). Very food friendly wine and a nice change of pace (and much cheaper) than a Napa Cabernet. If you like old world Cabernet this is …
