Società Agricola Nativ Taurasi

This a very pleasant, modern-style Aglianico, with ripe black currant, black plum, dark chocolate, sweet baking spices and a little smoky minerality. The palate is dry, consistent with the nose, with ripe fruit and spice. Nicely balanced, with medium (+) acidity, tannins and alcohol (13.5%). Full-bodied, yet fairly light on its feet for a Taurasi. It is in its optimal drinking window, but with plenty of aging potential left.

Deep ruby color, dark fruit bouquet, good structure. Good value.

Great Taurasi, especially for the price. May benefit on couple more years in cellar but already now very good.

Misses the depth and finesse of the 200 year old vineyards wine, but is still comparable with a deep rich taste.

Great potential, currently too young. Try again in 2 years time
