After 10 years this has developed into a beautiful bottle of wine. Fruit and tannins are seamlessly resolved, making for a velvety sip and a lingering, fruity finish with a spicy but harmonious accent of black pepper. The back label suggests cellaring up to 10 years, but my bottle could have lasted at least a few more. Unfortunately it was my only one!

Even though from 2007, this wine still had a nice black red color and medium clarity. An inviting nose of black cherry, currant and mellow oak. This is a round and smooth wine with flavors of cherry and pepper. Laying this down for several years made this average wine good. It was well worth the wait.

Luigi,a 10 year old reserve Malbec with no fruit left? Shame on you!

Nice wine but for a Luigi Bosca it was low on body. Maybe because I was drinking it in 2016.

A little past it's prime but opened nicely after 30 minutes in the glass.

Smooth, lighter flavor of cherries and smoak. More like a cabernet. Some very slight bitterness in finish.

Not a good showing. The fruit has faded and smooth oak remains. Already? Really?? Jenn's 30th.

Very old world in profile. Nice but unexciting.

Starting with this vintage, the 'Reserva' designation seems to have been dropped from the label, but I was assured by the consultant at the store that it's 'the same juice'. The nose is a little rustic, earthy, musty, grapey and oaky. Medium body, dry, slight astringency, balanced acidity, but little fruit to speak of, has a natural quality that makes it a fair value, but unremarkable.

Solid and drinkable. The nose is somewhat floral, but mainly fruit driven (almost jammy). On the palate, it is all about dark fruit (and a touch of tart - red cherry/cranberry). Good finish, and not too much oak. Well made, and very nice for the price.

Nice, but the 2005 was better for sure, this was very tasty, but a touch thin and lacking the intensity of the 05' - Dark, full bodied with a nose of plum, blueberry, spice, cherry and vanilla, decent structure and balance, interesting, sweet and smooth on the palate with good length (88 Points).

Smooth and a little bit fruity. Took about a half hour to open, and was a good wine with pasta.

This is what a Malbec should be. Good Tannins with a balance of fruit, spice and oak. Good value.

Lighter red in color. On the nose there was a old world earthiness. There was also cherry and strawberry fruit intermingled with chocolate and tobacco spice. On the palate was more of that fruitiness. What really made this wine exceptional was the stinky earthiness in combination with the chocolate tobacco on the mid palate. The finish had a nice spice with tannins that left your mouth wanting more. I would say this is not your traditional Argentinian malbec fruit bomb. …

This was a real headscratcher. I loved the unique nose, though I could not put it into words. The structure was excellent; balanced, soft and full of stone fruit. Well coopered. Great QPR.

RUSSK GC at Christensen. Didn't enjoy as much this time. Maybe too much barrel char and acidity.
