Brett upon opening, but blows off and give way to fresh figs, turning leaves, leather, soil, orange airy but with a warm breeze. On the palate the cherry fruit is fading gently. Still quite a bit of acid and the roundness i remember from years ago. Medium finish. I’d say drink up soon, although there is enough acid left for a long time, i don’t see the real upside in holding any longer

Bouteille de 500 ml. Très atypique dans ce millésime. Des notes de figues, de beaux tanins et acidité en retrait. Comparé à la bouteille de 750 ml du 2005, celui-ci était plus joufflu, plus aimable. Un vin de grande garde.

Wax-sealed top. Poured into decanter and drank over 2 hours. Bordeaux theme dinner at La Barca. Appearance is slightly cloudy , medium intensity, garnet colour. Legs. Nose medium intensity, with aromas of animale, soy sauce, earth. Developed. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), medium tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of sour prunes, dried black cherry, leather, savoury earth, soy sauce. Medium- finish. Lacking depth. Fruit drying up. Really poor vintage for Bordeaux. Has not …

2009 Le Puy vs 2010 Le Puy - Beide direkt von dem Probieren geöffnet. Nicht belüftet. - 2009 immer noch schon rund. Fruchtig. Integrierte Tannine. Schön zu trinken. - 2010 ist herber. Kantiger. Mehr Tannine. Weniger integriert. Damit anstrengender

Schön trinkbarer Bordeaux. Nicht 1er Grand Cru, aber macht wirklich Spaß. Gute Frucht, harmonische Tannine.

Consistent notes. Classic French earthiness but fruit just not right for this pp.

Vibrant, refreshing, juicy red fruits, pure with complexity of earth, undergrowth. Delicate yet flavourful.

funky on opening, but it persuades you in a certain way. the palate is warm 09 style and very Burgundian, really, never had bordeaux before that is so far away from the model bdx. very balanced, transparent wine. Quite nice acidity and impressive length. This is not overtly tannic at all (but there are tannins definitively), although I would reckon this could probably age for a considerable time period. Deserves a place in my cellar. Give this an hour time …

P&P. Pungent nose with funk/barn. Fairly acidic and not a lot of fruit on night 1. Started to evolve - will check back in on night 2.
