Monte Zovo Lugana Le Civaie

Reminiscent of Savoie whites, showing a real alpine character of fresh spring water and minerals. But it also had elements of stone fruits and honey to add to the flavor profile. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Strong grapefruit flavor, but not much overall to recommend this. Lacked a pop of acidity for a good food companion, and overall just felt one-note. Still, I'd drink it alone (without food) on a hot day.

Lovely and really enjoyable wine. Clear bright yellow color, in the middle range of intensity. Medium body, medium acidity. In the intensive spectrum of white wines but very balanced and precise. Long mineral ending, lovely. Nicely aromatic, citrus, tree fruits, minerals. Nice mixture on the palate: lemon, orange, pomelo, apricot, pear, apple, passion fruit, kiwi, honey, salt, stone. Very nice white wine and very affordable one. Cheers 🥂🥂

floral as well as fruity notes, lime, apricot and vanilla. Fresh, juicy on the palate, lots of lime, clearer minerality, stronger than other Lugana wines and also with more acidity, relatively long finish.
