Well made. The wine looks inky colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like fig, cherry, vanilla and black pepper. It tastes like raspberry, black currant (cassis), raisin, cherry, oak, clove and bell pepper. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Great bargain - this syrah is old school Washington, with an intense nose of coffee, really rich black/blue fruits on the palate. Needs a little air, was a touch flat on the finish at the PnP, let it sit and paired it with a spicy meal and it really sang. I'd say this wine is a touch on the feminine side, reminds me of the old Kestrel bottling that was soft at first and just continued to evolve and reward. …
