Citrus, apple, wet stone, herbs, slight exotic fruit and some oxidative honeyed notes on the rather restrained nose. The medium to full-bodied, rather viscous palate continues with the same ingredients, raising the exotic fruit portion (pineapple, mango, banana) a bit and adding some faint nuts. Medium acidity that is accompanied with somewhat fiery volcanic stoniness. Long finish, mellowing into fruit, with the 14% ABV alcohol feeling a bit. Interesting, rather complex and well-moderated take on the newest official Tokaji varietal. …
