First bottle of the case, opened 3 hours before serving, very attentive nose, mouthful palate and long after taste. A very good GC white and very enjoyable.

This 2009 is a big, structured wine with fabulous fruit. Spectacular today. The 2010 is higher acid, perhaps a feeling of tannin. Still on the upswing!

Drinking well, still tasting very bright and young. Under DIAM10. A leaner, sharper take on this Grand Cru, but with enough weight and intensity to keep it interesting.

Had high expectations for this. Drank with some friends along with a village puligny Montrachet. Unanimous conclusion was that the Montrachet was far better. It was very enjoyable, but the enjoyment to price ratio is very low compared to the Montrachet. Flavor notes: some baking spice, butter, citrus. High acidity, long finish. Just lacking in the complexity and structure I would associate with a $250-$300 bottle. If it were $60-$80 it would be great.

Pop and pour at 50F. This is gorgeous, probably showing best at just a little warmer than I served it. Delicate nose of wildflower, apple, butter. On the palate earthy and balanced. Beautiful.

Maybe it was high expectations for a 2010 CC, but this was a little bit of a let down, especially compared to the Roederer 242 we had with some dungeness crab. The oak application felt a little off, though I struggle with describing how. But that not-loving-it treatment is beginning to be a common thread with several Bouchard wines I've had over the last few years, red and white.

Perfectly mature yet youthful nose displaying concentrated yellow fruit, apple, lemon curd, crème brulee, a hint of lint, sesame and limestone. Excellent concentration, layers upon layers of perfectly ripe yellow fruit, rich and oily but also showing nice balance, perfect amount of acidity and mineral, and a long concentrated yellow fruit driven finish. This was impressive in its youth and has developed beautifully.

Out of magnum - still insanely youthful. Big and bold tropical fruit, hints of vanilla oak, with a plush present mouthfeel. On the second pour the intensity softened and the minerality started to come out. No hurry to open another one of this puppy

Bottled under diam. Fresh and not oxidized, also not mature. Kind of subdued at first, this really needed a couple hours of air to get going. Classic, crisp green apple fruit, vanilla, citrus, clean lines, nice mineral edge. Delicious.

Real Grand Cru white burgundy and not a trace of premox. Such a pleasure when these make it this far in good shape. In a non-premox world, this would be early maturity. Today....enjoy them for what they are...a lovely wine right now.

Beautifully nuanced with ripe red apple, pear, butter, biscuit and flinty notes. Lovely balance with a long finish. Luscious and creamy with the corresponding acidity and structure to go for a few more years. Drink now-2024.

Quite exotic, with some pineapple and coconut ice notes. It is rich, layered and creamy with good build and a fresh, long finish.

Dinner at Scaramouche. Very light yellow. Pure citrus fruit with white flowers and mineral notes. Very restrained at the moment. Started to open in about an hour but it was too late - the last few sips were the best. Focused pure. Nowhere near ready to drink. Try in three years .

i really think Bouchard nailed this vintage. crisp, mineral driven, great energy and a long finish. much better than Bonneau de Martray this year (93-94)

Agrume (citron, pamplemousse), fruits blancs (pomme, pêche blanche), cailloux, noisette, léger fumé et une touche de chèvrefeuille.
