Drew Family Cellars Albariño Valenti Vineyard

Pale yellow straw, with a faint green tinge. Crystal clear. Nose of white peach, lemon curd, In the mouth white grapefruit, tangerine, hint of almond. Excellent mouth feel and weight mid palate, a lingering dry finish, hint of mild bitterness like white pith of citrus. A very good Albarino, albeit a bit pricey.

Nice. Grapefruit acidity with a core of rounder white fruit with a nice little streak of minerality. I'm not a big Albariño guy so I'm not comparing this to some ideal but I would welcome more domestic wines made in this style.
