Domaine Pavelot (Jean-Marc et Hugues) Chorey-les-Beaune Les Beaumonts

Using a Coravin I poured a glass of this in mid September. We pulled the cork on the balance of the bottle last nite. The wine is solid, flawless and fresh after 5 months.

Chorey les Beaune Dmne. Pavelot 2019: Med red red currant and raspberry nose. Quite direct, bright fruit, a herb accent, the tannin gives it a nice shape. Shortish finish. from Coravin. Foxtrot Henricsson Vineyard (Naramata) Pinot Noir 2019: Light red with pink edge. Raspberry, strawberry jam nose and some caramel. Red berry fruit with baking spices palate. Sweetness in the fruit impact, silky feel, bright acid. Long finish. This deserves a few years in the cellar. The two wines are …
