Domaine des Pères de L'Église Châteauneuf-du-Pape Le Calice de Saint-Pierre Cuvée Heritage

Nice dark color, intensive plum and cherry taste, herbs, soil, too. Intensive and still it has the lightness and freshness of a Chateauneuf. Opened a bit up after two hours of decant but would have needed 5 hours or more. It is too young to drink at the moment. Would need a few more years. I got a feeling that in five years it could climb to a 91+.

Dark in color, with rich, round, lush textures, loads of peppery, black raspberry, kirsch, thyme and spice, that feels great on your palate. The wine is made from close to 100% old vine Grenache that comes from vines that are more than 100 years old.
