Dn1h Clearly needs decanting to open up. Still rather fresh but with some mature stuff behind the fruit. h-T, hA, m+B, dry Elegant and fruit driven but also lacking character. Don’t think this will improve much more.

Completely closed on opening. Give it at least some hours to breath and you're rewarded with a fine, balanced and subtle Barolo, worthy of the appellation. Soft red fruit, like cherry and red plum, with gentle acidity and a sweetish touch please the palate. Some floral notes and a rustic touch are noticeable in the background. Clearly present tannins provide structure and a mouth drying sensation. Do please open it some hours before drinking!

Wauw - what a nose! Like perfume already after a few minutes in the glass. Floral. High in acidity - stinging the tongue more than drying gums. Will see how this changes for day 2.

D3h. Initially a bit closed like Nebbiolo can be, but opened up showing loads of fruity and flowery notes, cherries, roses, violets, complex. Harmonious palate with a fair portion of tannin. Drink now or wait.

very bright red fruit, strawberry and candied cherries, with earthiness and lots of tannic chew in back. Yum!
