Med lemon. Pronounced. Smokey reductive notes, citrus and green apple. Dried herbs and pastry. Touch of roundness from the wood. Complex. High acidity. Med body (Sur lies fill the gaps of the basic Loureiro on the palate). Long and refreshing finish. NB: Vinho Verde Doc, Lima subregion Granitic soils Biodynamic viticulture 14 hr skin maceration Fermented and aged (sur lies) in concrete eggs and used chestnut barrels.

Burnt match and a bit of funk and then lemon and lime and a soft palate with a gentle salt water wash. This is funky wine with bags of character and is probably the most complex and interesting white Vinho Verde I’ve ever had. Fantastic.
