unctuous, definitely has impressive palate presence, perhaps even a bit syrupy but more in a viscous than cloying way, and drinks more like off-dry. each sip was like taking a bite out of a dried peach or apricot, in liquid form. mouthwatering acidity keeps me coming back for more.

Rich, aromatic nose of tropical fruits and flowers. Kiwi, melon, honey, honeysuckle. On the palate, a bit of oily petrol, lots of ripe tropical fruit, and honey again.

This has been open about a week, and I wasn't able to get a note on it until now - definitely lost a step or two. Lovely and in a better spot than a few years ago. A more savory fruit profile without any overt apple or stone fruit notes. Good acidity but no longer sharp. Slightly sweeter than expected.

Mineral nose - pure wet slate, green apple and white peach, lime and a hint of fresh herbs, without any sulphury oddities. Feather-light taste with low alcohol, brilliant acidity, pretty intense flavours, and perfectly understated sweetness (probably around, or just below, 30 g/l). The dry-ish balance finishes on the tingling acids, not on the sugar. Just lovely!

Everything I was looking for in a Riesling - light bodied, slate, some nice acidity and a little sweetness on the palate with refreshing finish. Drunk with a 2013 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr that was just a notch below this. Excellent.

Very tasty Kabinett, citrus, honeysuckle, petrol, slate on the nose. The palate is nicely balanced with a light feel, but plenty of flavor and punch. Good value

90-91 fantastic value. medium body, prickly acidity, and just enough sweetness. nose of peach, sweet orange, pineapple, with supporting slate and tennis ball big peach and pineapple on the palate. refreshing minerality with a tangy lemon/lime note on the finish. love the balance of pleasant RS without too much weight. i could drink a LOT of this.

Intense but extremely tasty. Ton of acid but well balanced. Just sweet enough. Definitely enjoyed more than the spatlese.

This is great stuff. Lean, racy, very mineral and with a tingly acidic edge -- but this is not the monolithic acidity of 2010 or 2001. Rather, there is ample acidity but it's a lightness of extract that steers the wine to a leaner profile. Just superb freshness - but there's excellent flavor here too. I could drink this every day.

Crisp and cut on the nose - stony, flinty, herbal-grass, spicy with cumin. Really elegant and pretty, white flowers. Palate of lime, gentle, perfumed, white flowers, stones. Lime and flower finish. This is really lean with high acid on the end palate and finish and maybe verges on a bit bony. But overall really excellent, classic Kabinett. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5/6, Finish - 4.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1/2 = 16/20.

Quite dense, incredibly expressive, spicy and herbal, a beautiful wine that defines old-school Mosel imo, and I can't wait to have this to drink and to put away. Classy stuff.
