C3 Tempranillo Crazy Eights

Tasted blind. Clear, ruby, with a little garnet. The nose is clean, with black fruit, some anise and oak spice. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity, medium tannins and medium (+) to pronounced alcohol (listed as 14.9%). Overall, this was medium to full bodied, with medium flavor intensity and length. Apparently it is a blend of 78% Tempranillo, 11% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Sauvignon. Good, but slightly unbalanced and unfocused. Drink now, not likely to improve with further …
