Bruno Lorenzon Mercurey 1er Cru Les Croichots Blanc

Pretty classic white burg flavors, but a touch too ripe and alcoholic for me. Good if you want a more American styled Chardonnay.

Maybe it’s just me, but I find the alcohol on this particular wine to be overbearing. And importantly, this is not something I find with other reliable producers for 2019, so I’m reluctant to say it but think this may be one of Bruno’s weaker vintages. Tiny hint of struck match. Pretty well made, à la mode. But ultimately doesn't really transcend its relatively humble origins. It's a good Montagny, no more or less. So make sure not to pay more

Great example of Mercurey blanc. Unctuous mouthfeel. Works with or without food. Definitely a white Burgundy but the backbone of a Viognier. ABV 14.5. Drinking well now.

Really fantastic. Spring fruit, peach on the nose. God mouthfeel, slmost juicy in lushness, but tapered by a wiry acidity. Tightens on the back end. Very easy to drink with some room to grow as well. V. Nice and great value in white burg dollars today.

Meget fyldig og næsen tropisk i næsen. I smagen var alkoholen tilstede og igen tropisk frugt. Manglede lidt balance
