Carione Brunello di Montalcino

The good: it had evolved nicely and was displaying pleasant tertiary aromas. It also had a fairly complex bouquet of dried red fruits, tar, leather, mushroom, and other aromas. It was also quite silky on the palate and the tannins weren’t harsh. The bad: it was dilute and the aromas were too light. It is drinking well now and probably won’t last more than a year or two.
