It was a bit flat upon opening. Opened up a bit after an hour or so. Disappointed in this one compared to the reviews. This bottle may not have aged as well as most.

- Crimsom color with slow forming legs and aromas of chocolate, blackberry and oak. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry, bacon and chocolate with a full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Decanted 2 hours.

Excellent wine - I am recovering from an illness so my palate is a little off - decanted for 1 hour and served with grilled ribeye on the bone - black cherry / blackberry / black raspberryy / floral nose - palate relatively consistent - there is more there but I can't describe. Great fruit / acid / tannin balance - medium+ finish. 91+ from me - my wife loved this so probably 92-93 range. Got much better with airtime …

Brilliant effort. Beautiful merlot with layers of black fruit. Quite floral and rich nose, velvety texture. Medium+ finish.
