A very elegant, fruity nose of dusty iron minerals, sous bois, cinnamon and clove mixed with orange and strawberry remnants. Soft tannins, integrated acidity that introduce soft, fruity citrus palate flavors. As this opens up, the wine becomes a bit darker and more intense, indicating a young(er) wine yet. Incredible showing for a Volnay AC. Lovely at this level.
