Still drinking nicely after 11 years. Notes of petrol, flowers and fruit on the nose, while on the palate its still fresh raspberries and cherry. No tannins or particular minerality to speak of. No browning - still an almost dark purple with hints of red appearing around the edges. Very nice!

Gradually getting through the case. Some cherry on the nose. Not much body. Clean finish. Simple quaffer. Have had better Beaujolais at this price

Last bottle in the collection. This one was much better. Makes me think previous version was flawed. Red cherry and abundance young acid makes for a simple but refreshing weeknight wine. Wine had a nice finish. Went really well with Panetta and caramelized onions.

Enjoyed this over a couple of nights, it has a rather austere, bracing aspect with iron (as rust in the nose) and granite along with a modest presence of bright fruit; acidity, and low tannins. QPR is OK.

Summer cries out for a nice Beaujolais! Something simple, correct, chilled, not too flashy or showy but earthy, dirty, a little bit tart, direct. Really pretty garnet color with nice highlights. Cherry Popsicle and spice aromatics...too candy like. Light body. Creamy texture. Tart and sweet cherry and spice taste. Light acidity. Short finish. Had one night with bangers and peppers, next night with lamb ragu pasta. no difference in taste second night. Good little every day wine. Probably wouldn't buy again.

It's rare I say chill a red, seems just a way to conceal an aspect of the wine of which one may not be particularly fond, or perhaps it's the thought of cold tannins I dislike. The fruit in the Bine is candied to the point I would recommend 25 minutes in the fridge; on a picnic it would be straight to the cold creek for a spell. This may be a Garagiste bust. The wine was funky. Like a cherry popsicle dipped in cheap red vinegar. The fruit and acid completely battled each other. We poured it down the sink. Not sure whether the wine was just way to young or whether it was damaged. It reminded me of a bad Beaujolais Nouveau. It was not listed as such, but maybe I'm mistaken.
