A beaut of a drop we had over Christmas (2018) during lunch. A bright wine with subtle hints of gold to the eye. Med - nose with struck match, stone fruits, preserved lemon and some apple/pear characters. Med + body, Med - acidity, Med- length. Palate showed some texture, possible lees work, subtle toasty, butter notes with honey, white flowers, honeydew melon, baked apple, with just a bit of acidity to balance and med - length. By the glass at the BA lounge. Fresh bottle.
