Medium ruby with slight bricking. A reticent nose or black cherries, herbs, and earth. Light bodied, almost lean, with notes of red fruits, herbs, and shiitake mushrooms on the palate. Enjoyable.

The first aroma in my glass of black fruits and dried cherries let me know I had found a wine that had arrived at it's "window of opportunity". I was looking for a red burgundy for an upcoming diner and knew I had found it. This wine is fresh, round, floral and balanced with the "delicious factor" that makes you want to take another sip.
